Dory is a very good marking dog who runs hard on blinds. She gives 100% effort on all aspects of training and is a very consistent performer. Her disposition is always calm and cool. She has a great temperament, is sweet, and loves attention. Dory's pups are for those of you who are interested in field trials or hunt tests. Dory is the granddaughter of history's all-time hall of fame dog 2XNAFC 2XCNAFC FC Ebonstar Lean Mac "Maxx". Maxx is argueably the best and the most prepotent sire of this era. Maxx was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003. Maxx was also the recipient of the Thomas W. Merritt Memorial Trophy. This is an annual award to the outstanding sire of field trial retrievers who sired the greatest number of progeny. Maxx has won this award from 2000 - 2007. Maxx has sired more Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion Offspring than any other Labrador in history, and those numbers are still increasing. Currently he has over 142 FC AFC CFC CAFC NFC NAFC CNFC CNAFC titled offspring and numerous others that are titled in the UKC, CKC, and other registries.
