Cochise's Barracuda Blue Shelby

Welcome to Cochise Labradors, breeders of the finest Field Trial and Hunt Test chocolate labrador retriever puppies out of FC AFC Cuda's Blue Ryder MH. Ryder's sire is FC AFC CFC CAFC Barracuda Blue MH "Cuda". Ryder's dam is a littermate to NFC AFC Storm's Riptide Star "Rascal".

Shelby is one of Cochise Labradors' latest addition to our kennel. Shelby is currently with a pro trainer in Oklahoma. We are expecting great things out of Shelby.

Shelby's sire is FC AFC Cuda's Blue Ryder MH "Ryder". Ryder is the son of FC AFC CFC CAFC Barracuda Blue MH, the most titled chocolate in history. His dam Higher Grounds Helen Keller (black) had numerous placings in Open stakes in a limited number of trials. Helen Keller is a full sibling to NFC-AFC Storm's Riptide Star, the first chocolate NFC. Ryder represents a remarkable black and chocolate gene pool.

Shelby is the great granddaughter of history's all-time hall of fame dog 2XNAFC 2XCNAFC FC Ebonstar Lean Mac "Maxx". Maxx is argueably the best and the most prepotent sire of this era. Maxx was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003. Maxx was also the recipient of the Thomas W. Merritt Memorial Trophy. This is an annual award to the outstanding sire of field trial retrievers who sired the greatest number of progeny. Maxx has won this award from 2000 - 2007. Maxx has sired more Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion Offspring than any other Labrador in history, and those numbers are still increasing. Currently he has over 152 FC AFC CFC CAFC NFC NAFC CNFC CNAFC titled offspring and numerous others that are titled in the UKC, CKC, and other registries.
